This inspired 21st Century built house enjoys a commanding position on Shooters Hill.
The accommodation is sizeable and is beautifully presented with accommodation over three floors.
The ground floor features a living room with underfloor heating and facing Oxleas Wood across the road. There is a ground floor cloakroom too. However the kitchen/diner is the show stopper here being dual aspect with attractive modern units, integrated appliances, underfloor heating and French doors that lead on to the expansive rear gardens.

From the inner hallway, which also has direct access to the garden there are stairs to the first floor. Here you will find two double bedrooms. The larger of the two faces Oxleas Wood, The smaller bedroom is usefully en-suite, and there also a family bathroom immaculately presented with its centre piece a roll top bath with ball and claw feet.

Another flight of stairs takes you to the top floor where the principal bedroom is located. Again this room is sizeable and has en-suite facilities also. Our clients mention “The top floor is filled with natural light as a result of 270 degree windows, one of which looks East over Kent and the Dartford Bridge.”

It is on that note that we have asked the current owners to write some words about what they love about their home and some of the advantages they can share about where they live and why it is such a great location……..

“Externally there is rear access from Eaglesfield road where you will find secure parking for 3 cars as well as access to our impressive garden. It is mainly laid with lawn, and has a decked area directly outside the kitchen making it a perfect space for when we entertain in the warmer months. There is also a paved walkway and step to the side gate leading to the front of the house as well as a paved walkway which leads from the house to the garage which we converted into a smart office space and gym. Just outside the office is a patio and pergola a perfect space to soak up the morning sun.

If you like a house with a view, you will not be disappointed as the front overlooks Oxleas Woods and the back leads on to Woodlands Farm. The top floor of our home is bright and airy from the three windows we have, one of which looks East over Kent and the Dartford Bridge.

Those with commuting in mind will find this location a hub for multiple transport options with frequent Bus services to Overground trains, the DLR and the Elizabeth Line - all providing fast and easy access to the City, Canary Wharf and the West End in less than an hour.

Holiday travel is also quick and easy, with the City airport a short DLR ride away and Gatwick airport a 45 minute drive away. Paddington station and Heathrow airport are also easily accessible using the Elizabeth line –typical journeys takearound 25 and 55 minutes respectively.

Shooters Hill is leads in part to some important road networks including the South Circular (for the Woolwich Ferry), A20, A2 (for the M25), the Woolwich Ferry and A102 Blackwall Tunnel.

Families will find there is a range of schooling with the sought-after Christ Church Primary and Plumcroft Primary nearby. Those with Secondary education in mind have the local Greenwich Free School or the opportunity to take advantage of an overlap into Bexley Borough with the option to apply for grammar schools.
Shooters Hill is a great location if you want to keep active or looking to make the most of your free time as the immediate area is home to some of London's popular green spaces which include Oxleas Woods, Woodlands Farm, Eaglesfield and Shrewsbury Park.

There is a vibrant community hub at nearby Shrewsbury House which has a wide selection of activities throughout the week for all age groups. The opposite side of Shooters Hill there is the grade II* listed Sevendroog Castle which affords stunning views of the London landscape, plus a tearoom too.

For sports enthusiasts there is Shooters Hill Lawn Tennis Club, Bowls Club and Shooters Hill Golf Club all within the vicinity.

We have much enjoyed our time here on Shooters Hill and this house has been the perfect spot to enjoy both rural and urban living. It truly is the best of both worlds and will bring nothing but happiness to whomever is lucky enough to move here.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
