The character, the unique features (well, shared secret garden, double garage, beams, thatch), the beautiful mature garden, the history 18th century (amongst one of the oldest cottages in Hempton), period property with modern features (oak kitchen), in the countryside but near to Oxford, Chipping Norton, Banbury and perfectly placed for commuting by rail and motorway etc.

Briefly, can you tell me some of the things you love about living here?

a. Location is wonderful for dog walks, running, cycling or children. Beautiful public footpaths across gorgeous fields, canals, and stunning views to stunning places e.g. Great Tew, Swerford, and Heythrop.

b. In the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside but close to everything.

c. Nice neighbourhood, WhatsApp local group, good local schools, real community - people are extremely helpful (borrowing ladders, helping with the cats, dogs, and children) Hempton church is used for all sorts of things. In the parish of Deddington which has everything you need for young and old (from GP and dentist to local monthly market and restaurants)

d. I’ve always said, “there’s a lot of love in this house” and bringing up our family, I wanted them to know and feel that as they grow up. Turret End Cottage has this as soon as you walk in. We moved in in 2017, we got married in 2019 and had our wedding at home: the car port was the bar, the overall gravel yard was our dance floor and marquee, there were hay bales, pallet furniture, barrels, camper vans, bunting etc decorating the place and the shared land was our drinks reception. One week after we got married we got another dog Luna, so Kaiser could have a wife too, and in 2020 we had our son Ethan.

This was our first family home before we had kids and dogs.
We got married here and we love it and will always love it.
