Property description & features

  • Tenure: Leasehold (245 years remaining)
A beautifully presented fifth floor modern apartment, located next to the river Thames and overlooking the world famous O2 centre.

The building itself is very prestigious, presenting a spacious lobby area offering workstations and a large communal roof terrace, located on the 18th level. The concierge is in the building next door and a postal room service is operated in the same building as the apartment, where parcels are stored and collected. Inside the apartment you will find a very bright and airy living room, an open-plan kitchen benefiting from having integrated appliances.

There is a double-sized bedroom featuring direct access to a private balcony, overlooking the O2 centre and features river views, a large bedroom benefiting from having fitted wardrobes and a spacious bathroom suite, with shower over bath. Furthermore, you have underfloor heating throughout, wood flooring, large double glazed windows, a video entry phone system, large storage cupboard and a good-sized utility/storage cupboard.

The property does come with a long lease and is EWS1 compliant. North Greenwich tube station, which is on the Jubilee Line is moments away on foot, which is a commuters dream. The IFS cloud cable cars, at Greenwich Peninsula is just moments away too, transporting commuters direct to the Royal Docks. Buses are frequent from the O2 and transports commuters into local areas and towards central London. In the immediate area, you can also ride on the Uber Boat service - from right outside the development - which can take you to Greenwich town centre in just 5 minutes, as well as directly to Battersea. The O2 itself offers a wide range of facilities such as a shopping outlet, multiplex cinema, restaurants, pubs, bars and much more. Greenwich town centre is a short bus ride away, where you will find the royal park, covered market and DLR.

What The Sellers Say –

“We are two sisters and have lived here for the past three years since the apartment was brand new. It has been the most enjoyable three years. We are now moving in with our partners but if it wasn’t for this we would love to stay here for much longer.

The apartment still feels brand new and has an immaculate finish throughout. The floor to ceiling windows are one of our favourite features and the sunshine they allow into the property in the summer is amazing! The direct views over the O2 with the Thames to the side is really quite special and sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee on a summer morning really can’t be beaten. We have plenty of storage throughout the apartment and the walk in wardrobe is an added bonus!

Location is perfect: we can be in the heart of the City within 20 minutes with the Jubilee Line on our doorstep and the beautiful green spaces of Greenwich Park are just a walk away. Greenwich is a truly beautiful place with such variety and so much going on. The Peninsula hosts a Summer festival every year now with live performers and a farmers market next to the river at weekends and there are always new restaurants and bars popping up around the apartment. The O2 is of course on our doorstep so there are plenty of fun activities to keep us occupied just next door. As two young girls, something which we have really appreciated is how safe we feel in the area. There is a real sense of community around Upper Riverside with a large communal WhatsApp group in addition to a Neighbourhood Watch WhatsApp group and regular meetings in order to keep all residence safe.

We really love the apartment, the area and the community and are both very sad to be moving out.”

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted

Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on October 30, 2018 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
