History
Built out of local red Sandstone with Bath stone dressings and arches made of stone brought from the Forest of Dean. The foundation stone was laid on 3rd June 1867 by H. O. Wills of Bristol and it was completed and opened on 21st July 1868 by Rev Newman Hill of Surrey, it was Congregational chapel and later became the United Reformed Church in 1971. It finally closed late in the 20th century and was converted into an antiques centre. In 2014 the whole building underwent a complete refurbishment and now comprises of eight exceptionally high standard luxurious Apartments, with the interior and exterior retaining much of its original character.
