The Property - Wishover is an attractive and substantial detached individual house with a separate annex occupying an elevated and peaceful location in a no through lane on the southern slopes of the National Trust Hardown Hill. The house is estimated to date back to the 1930s/1950s and has been substantially altered and extended over the years to include the building of a large double garage/workshop with an annex over. It is traditionally built with rendered and colour washed elevations.

The house would now benefit from general updating although there is oil fired central heating, oil fired Rayburn cooker range to both the main house and annex and UPVC sealed unit windows/doors.

Offering extensive and versatile accommodation, taking in distant views over Golden Cap and Langdon Hill and to Charmouth with Lyme Regis beyond.

Annex (internal staircase off double garage/workshop) - first floor - landing, open plan living room/kitchen, bedroom with ensuite washroom.

Outside - In total, the plot extends to about 1/4 acre.

A brick paved driveway leads to a detached single garage and the integral double garage/workshop. The gardens are a further feature of the property lying to the rear/south west and are very well stocked and landscaped, there is an adjoining raised paved terrace leading down to areas of lawn, large ornamental pond, well stocked flower and shrub borders together with a vegetable/fruit garden with stores and shed.

Part of the boundaries are formed by ornate railings and there are pedestrian gates onto Loves Lane.

Situation - Morcombelake is a popular village approximately mid-way between Chideock and Charmouth and is famous for the wonderful National Trust Golden Cap estate and access to the beautiful Jurassic Coast. the estate embraces most of the coastal land between Charmouth and Seatown with access to many magnificent walks including Langdon Hill and Golden Cap. Very nearby is also Hardown Hill which again belongs to the National Trust, offering fabulous 360 degree views. The immediate area is designated one of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Jurassic Coast is designated as a World Heritage Site. Morcombelake village offers excellent amenities including Felicity's Farm Shop, church and a very active village hall, together with regular bus services.

The village of Chideock and Charmouth are both within only a few miles, again both located on the World Heritage Coast (the latter with a Blue Flag world-famous fossil and bathing beach). The thriving market town of Bridport and the historic coastal resort of Lyme Regis are both within about 5 miles. there is a mainline railway service to London and the West Country from Axminster, about 8 miles.
