This superb detached chalet bungalow occupies a delightful location in a small cul-de-sac within three quarters of a mile of the town centre and a similar distance from the superb woodland and moorland walks in the Hopcott and Periton Hills.

Believed to have been built in the 1950's the bungalow has been extended into the roof space to provide a super three room master suite enjoying coastal views. The generous, gas centrally heated and double glazed accommodation in brief comprises; entrance lobby opening to an impressive reception hall with timber and glazed staircase up to a gallery style landing, the dining room with bay window has double doors into the double aspect sitting room with gas fire and patio doors to the rear garden, a well equipped fitted kitchen/breakfast room is complemented by an adjoining double glazed conservatory and staying on the ground floor there are two double bedrooms and a modern fitted shower room. On the first floor is the main bedroom with dressing room and a luxury bathroom.

The property is approached through a wrought iron pedestrian gate or double timber gates onto a tarmac drive providing off road parking facilities. The front garden is arranged behind low brick walling laid predominantly to lawn with flower and shrub borders and pedestrian access around one side of the property. Immediately to the rear is a timber deck outside of the sitting room running into a paved patio beyond which are the attractive lawn gardens on two shallow levels with shrub and flower borders, small trees and a shallow stream at the foot of the garden. Within the rear garden there is also a former garage with light and power which is at present used as a workshop but could be converted back to a garage for a small vehicle and has a pedestrian gate into the lane at the side.

Hopcott close is a favoured residential area of the town conveniently situated as it is within three quarters of a mile of the shopping area and yet within easy reach of the A39. The town has an excellent range of shopping, banking and schooling facilities together with bowling, tennis, golf and the Beautiful Blenheim Gardens which still has the original Bandstand. The old harbour and sea front are within a mile and the county town of Taunton which has mainline rail connections and access to the motorway network is approximately 25 miles to the east. For those who enjoy exploring the countryside Minehead is often referred to as a gateway to the Exmoor National Park and the many places of interest are all within motoring distance.
From our office proceed up Friday Street into the continuation of Townsend Road passing the Texaco station and taking the next turning right into Paganel Road. Proceed to the crossroads with Cher turning left and proceed to the T-junction with Hopcott Road, turn right towards Porlock and after approximately 200 hundred yards take the right hand turn into Hopcott Close. Follow the road around to the left and the bungalow will be found in the right hand corner.
