"We love Hanham because it has a 'village feel', even though it is a suburb of Bristol and is only circa 20 minutes into the centres of both Bristol and Bath, and close to wonderful countryside. The neighbours are all very friendly and caring, many living in Hanham for a long time - this is one of the many things we will miss when we move. The location of our house is great; only a short walk to the high street, though also extremely close to great open spaces, such as Hanham Hall Meadows and Woods, where we walk our dog (Stanley) every day. We love our private back garden and courtyard which isn't overlooked by any other house so great in the summer months. We also love our living room with the open fire which is great for cosy nights in the winter! The layout of the house is also great for socialising with our family and friends".

Martins Road not only has the benefit of a local green environment but also several spaces to enjoy nearby but also a busy high street with excellent local shops. Magpie Bottom Nature Reserve is just minutes away on foot, as is 'the meadows of hanham' which are both brilliant spots for those looking to walk the dog or just enjoy a peaceful spot in the city. Conham River Park is also within walking distance, an oasis in Bristol with riverside walks, home to lots of wildlife such as Kingfishers and Cormorants as well as providing access via a short boat crossing to Beeses's bar and garden, which sits next to and overlooks the river.
