Description

This beautiful barn is believed to have been built around the 16th century and offers a wealth of original features. It benefits from limestone flooring throughout the ground level with floor to ceiling picture windows overlooking the surrounding countryside and pond at the side and rear. It has two delightful galleried landings on the first and second levels overlooking the living space below which creates a light and spacious environment to live in.

The ground floor consists of an entrance hall with a cloakroom, and dining/seating area with picture windows and French doors leading onto the rear garden patio. The open plan sitting room has an open fire, and windows looking out over the surrounding gardens. The modern kitchen/breakfast room has a breakfast bar, central island with integrated appliances, dining area, and separate seating area. There is also a separate utility room.

The first floor has a galleried landing, which overlooks the beautiful rear elevation, and down into the sitting room/seating area. The principal bedroom has solid oak flooring, dual aspect to the side and rear gardens, with 2 dressing rooms providing a range of shelved and hanging units, and en suite bathroom comprising bath, separate shower, hand basin, bidet and low level WC. There are three further double bedrooms, 2 with fitted wardrobes, and one with en suite, there is another single bedroom which could be suitable as a nursery room, or home office.

Stairs lead to the 2nd floor galleried landing, which opens on to the large 6th bedroom, half the space of the 2nd floor, and is very generous in size.

Externally, The Barn is approached by a pretty, private road, surrounded by gardens and magnificent, uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside.

Please note, photos were taken more than a year ago, and the property is available for a 6 month let only.

Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted

Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on September 19, 2022 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
