We had many happy years at this house and have lots of fond memories of the time we spent here with family and friends. It is a wonderful neighborhood, and it is well positioned for schools, shops and everything else you might need locally.”

CHARM AND SOPHISTICATION
Dating back to 2005, the charming, two-storey house was part of a prestigious development created within the grounds of a Grade II-listed manor house. Properties were designed to reflect the period charm of the grand home while also providing the comfort and high standard of living required by 21st-century homeowners. “We were the first people to move into this house,” he recalls. “We were drawn to it by its green, leafy surroundings and the serenity it offered. The communal parkland grounds, which are well maintained, have been wonderful for strolling in, playing games with the children or watching the birds and squirrels in the trees. “We have also enjoyed having our own small garden, where we have been able to sit with friends, have barbecues and simply relax and enjoy the calm surroundings after a busy day at work,” he says. “It has also been nice to sit in the large drawing room on summer days with all the doors on to the garden open.”

HOME AND AWAY
The property, which could make an outstanding, lock-up-and-leave pied-à-terre for someone with their main home abroad, is perfect for anyone needing to travel into London by rail or road. Heathrow Airport is just 20 minutes’ drive and the M3, M4 and M25 motorways are easily accessible for cross-country travel. “We are in a good location for a variety of shopping areas and places to dine out as well here,” he says. “We are close to Sunningdale and Ascot High Street, as well as Windsor and Bracknell, which all offer very different things.” He adds: “We have been very happy here for all this time and know that whoever lives here next will also enjoy it too.”

SETTING THE SCENE
The house at Heronsbrook enjoys its own private terrace and side courtyard garden. It sits in beautiful communal gardens, with mature trees and shrubs, as well as lawned, and it comes with allocated parking.
