* Vendors comments * " As a first-time buyer, I was very excited to be searching to purchase a property. I really wanted something different, something special. I visited many properties with much disappointment. When I saw an artist’s impression of Elderwood Place being advertised I had to go and check it out, even though it was still in the early stages of construction. When I saw this building, I immediately fell in love with it. I also loved the surroundings, with beautiful established and mature trees. The beautiful park opposite also made this place quite special.
The property itself, a Georgian building had all the character and charm that I was looking for in a property. What a find. The interior, when I got to inspect felt warm and cosy, with its high ceilings and large Georgian windows the whole flat was light and bright.
The lounge/diner which overlooks the park is a lovely room to work from home or just sit and read a book. Having a park on your doorstep was so useful to wander around and stop off and have a picnic.
Apart from the kitchen and bathroom, the floors are highly polished.
When I was looking for a property, security was high on my agenda. Elderwood Place, I am very happy to say, gave me this. The beautifully wrought iron railings and security gates keep the place secure and give you peace of mind.
Elderwood also has a wonderful community feel with regular resident gatherings for barbecues etc.
The maintenance and upkeep of Elderwood are managed by a few of the residents who have very kindly given up their own time to keep the place in tiptop condition.
The property has excellent transport links to London and Gatwick Airport. West Norwood station is only a 15min walk away, alternately, a couple of stops on the bus. The very interesting Crystal Palace is a 5min drive away.
My plan was to keep my flat for an indefinite period. However, family commitments meant selling the flat and moving on."

OnTheMarket may have applied supplementary data to this property listing, including:
Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on February 20, 2023
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on February 20, 2023
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on November 25, 2008 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.
