It's been 17yrs now and thinking of moving on has been a big decision as we want to relocate close to family. We have raised two grown-up children who have now moved on.

It's been such a friendly & peaceful neighbourhood. We have never experienced crime and everyone is happy to live in the area with little movement over time.

We have made improvements to the property i.e. We had electrical re-wiring through the house, installation of new double-glazed windows, own gate to your front door modern front door with a lovely canopy & new internal doors. With my husband being an architect, he has, over the years paid attention to the house to maintain its standard and it was also newly decorated a few weeks ago.

The main double bedroom has been my favourite space with a massive wardrobe and two large windows which draw light and are very relaxing during the day. The second double bedroom accommodates a bunk bed and wardrobe; you may also choose to replace it with a double bed as it's a good size bedroom. The living room is spacious & with good lighting through the windows where I spend my working from home days. We also have a good size fitted kitchen. Not forgetting the loft, is well insulated and has space to add extra rooms should you wish, of course on approval.

If you are a lover of gardening, it has a huge private garden where one can put up an outdoor building and plant either food or flowers. Over the years I have planted tomatoes & potatoes which yielded well.

For years I worked in London and had very easy access to various travel options to Central London within 45mins. Walking distance to two stations South Croydon & Waddon, 10 mins bus ride to East Croydon station with a bus stop a few minutes a way. If you have children, the property is within walking distance to a top school, Whitgift High school, and other outstanding local schools. Finally, there is easy access to Brighton which is 60 minutes away with quick access to the M25 which provides links to various destinations.

As I prepare to move on I will miss the tranquillity of this area, the park right behind the property for a jog, the easy access to various shopping malls on Purley way, East & West Croydon and the peaceful ambience this house has afforded me".
