Also within a few minutes walk nearby is Wish Park which the children's play area has been renovated, lovely cafe with delicious breakfast and lunches and to go and watch the cricket matches that take place throughout the summer months. Nearby is Richardson Road which has some lovely smaller shops, florist, cafe's etc and on Kingsway there are some cafes, Love Wholefoods shop with an amazing selection of organic wines and local produce and the petrol station has an M&S which is handy if you have run out of anything. Church Road Hove just 20 minutes walk has many shops, bars, restaurants, large Tesco's supermarket and George street with more shops and restaurants. We can also highly recommend Rockwater on Hove seafront (10 minutes walk) has a fantastic retractable roof terrace perfect for those Summers evenings for a few drinks/dinner/lunch and taking in the seaview!
King Alfred leisure centre with its gym and swimming pool facilities is just 15 minute walk approximately. There are good transport links to Central Brighton, so the number 1, 6 and 700 buses takes you to the the city centre in 10 minutes, Brighton Green Social Bicycles to hire which are parked in Wish Park and Big Beach Cafe will take a 20 minutes ride along the seafront to Brighton Pier and at the other side you can walk to Portslade railway station with its links to London Victoria.

This property benefits from having a lovely sunny lounge to the front with period features and fireplace, which takes you through to a stunning large extension with its fitted kitchen for all your catering needs, two fridges, two freezers, dishwasher, oven and microwave oven then open plan living space and dining table. The Bi-fold doors open out to the West Facing Garden with decked and seating areas for guests to enjoy. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. Up to the second floor you have the spacious Master Bedroom with seaview at each side and has the benefit of a modern en-suite bathroom.

Norman Road, Hove is situated a couple of miles from Brighton in a lovely road with beautiful houses and close to the seafront. The sea is at the bottom of the road and the beach and is a few minutes walk away.

The area is particularly popular with families and Brighton is a bustling and vibrant, artistic city, but it can also be very noisy, so if you want the fun but to come home to some peace and quiet, Hove is ideal. We are close to great transport links.

Getting Around
We are fortunate to be ideally situated to reach Brighton and London. There is a frequent and direct bus to Brighton at the top of the road. The journey takes ten minutes. The train (15 minutes walk away) takes 8 minutes to get to Brighton and just over an hour to London Victoria. The property is close to the sea so we would recommend a beautiful seafront walk to Brighton which takes 45 minutes. Alternatively, if you prefer a walk in the countryside then the South Downs is a 10 minutes drive in the opposite direction! Beautiful scenery and charming villages. We're incredibly lucky to have both on our doorstep.

Broadband availability and predicted speed: obtained from Ofcom on February 3, 2022

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on February 3, 2022

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area: obtained on June 21, 2018 from The Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007 or the Home Report if in relation to a residential property in Scotland.

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.
