The woodland is typical for the locality and is an attractive block of amenity wood with limited timber value and high recreational and strategic value.

Holm Hills Woodland comprises principally mature Beech trees situated adjoining the A3 with vehicular access through the hamlet of Conford. The western boundary abuts the Longmoor Ministry of Defence (MOD) training area. The land is approximately 2 miles to the centre of Liphook, 10 Miles to Petersfield and the A3 leading north to the M25 Jct 10 and south to the M27.

From the A3: Leave the A3 at the Bramshott and Liphook Junction following London Road in to Liphook, then turning right on to Tower Road and right again on to Headley Road (B3004), drive over the A3 and after approximately one mile turn left towards the village of Conford. Follow the un-named road turning right after Conford Village Hall, this road will lead you directly to Holm Hills Woodland.
