The jewel in the crown of Brixham is undoubtedly the stunning harbour which still hosts one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK. The Brixham harbour bowl & town centre offers a vast array of shops, cafes and restaurants amongst other convenient amenities and for the escape from the exciting hustle and bustle of the harbourfront, there are some superb walks along the southwest coastal path taking in Oxen Cove and the views of the Breakwater together with Shoalstone pool (the seawater lido) and the amazing Berry Head.

Directions:
Like many homes near the harbour bowl in Brixham, its best to leave your car and venture on foot. Walk down to teh foot of Fore Street,, bearing right to find the steps up Temperance Place located on the Corner of King Street opposite the ‘New Quay Inn’ > climb up and Mount Pleasant Road is at the top. Number 38 will be found here at the top. For vehicular access, Mount Pleasant Road is accessed from Bolton Street, not far from the Fire Station and can also be accessed via Elkins Hill. Near the house, there is unrestricted on street parking, but not allocated.
