Seascape Cottage is perfectly located with views over the village green in South Creake, the River Burn runs through the village, setting an idyllic scene, particularly in the spring with daffodils and ducklings adding to the charm. The village benefits from an active Memorial Hall which is a community space for village activities, tennis courts, bowling green, children's' play area, a beautiful church and wayside stalls selling local produce as well as a yearly classical music festival. The Ostrich Inn has recently been refurbished and is a short walk from the property.

Nearby Burnham Market is an attractive Georgian village with an eclectic range of independent gift and clothing boutiques and shops including a fish monger, butcher, delicatessen, wine merchant and post office. The village benefits from doctor and dentist surgeries, a primary school, tennis courts, garage, a fine parish church and several coffee shops, restaurants and pubs including The Hoste boutique hotel, Socius and No. Twenty 9.

DESCRIPTION

Seascape Cottage sits in a pretty terrace of properties overlooking the village green and is currently a successful holiday let.

Approached from the back garden a half-glazed door opens into the entrance hall, with built in cupboards and boiler storage on your right as you enter. There is a separate room off the hall that was a WC, this could be reinstated but it is currently used as a lockable housekeeping room for the business.

To your left off the hallway is a good-sized double bedroom with views to the garden and an adjacent bathroom with bath, vanity unit, white sanitary wear and heated towel rail.

The main living space is a large kitchen, dining and sitting room on the east side of the house, with big windows overlooking the village green, wide windowsills and flagstone flooring. An inglenook fireplace at one end of the room is fitted with a woodburning stove, adding warmth and a cosy focal point. The dining area is the in the centre of the room.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of paint finished base and wall units under oak worktops. Integrated appliances include a double oven, ½ size dishwasher, fridge freezer and ceramic sink. The front door of the property opens to the village green from this room.

Stairs lead up from the hall to the first-floor landing, where there is an airing cupboard. There are three further bedrooms upstairs, a nice double with lovely views over the green, a single and a bunk bedroom with built in bunkbeds. A family shower room is fitted in a contemporary style with large walk-in shower, vanity unit, heated towel rail and white sanitary wear.

This is a charming cottage that would work equally well as a full-time home, but currently creates income from holiday letting.

Seascape Cottage is a pretty double fronted mid terrace cottage. It has paint finished render under a pantile roof.
The cottage owns two designated parking spaces within in shared carpark. From the parking area the house is accessed from the back garden and the front door leads into the kitchen from the village green.

The garden is west facing and fully enclosed, bordered by lovely brick and flint walls and wooden fencing, it is laid to lawn with an apple tree and small garden shed. A paved west facing terrace provides space for outside entertaining.
