Refkit.co.uk, whistleworld.co.uk, golfkit.co.uk and bowlskit.co.uk are all available. The business posted an annual turnover for 2021 of £130,286 with a gross profit of £50,039. They have accounts with some of the industries top manufactures including ACME Whistles with whom they have just supplied a large order to the railways. Originally they supply football kits, referee kits, referee equipment, ACME whistles and Casio watches.
We believe that there is further potential to increase trade by expanding products taken from manufacturers and specialist wholesalers and investment in pay per click advertising. The business enjoys a strong reputation within the trade and this can be relocated anywhere. Online retailer of Sports and specialist Items
The business of Refkit was established in 1997 selling football referee clothing and accessories via mail order. In 2004 we started to sell via the internet using a programme called Sellerdeck which gave us unlimited licences. Back then to achieve high google rankings it was recommended that your website reflected what you did. We established a number of website names using Sellerdeck to retail products relating to the name of the sport. Our marketing policy has been to have a number of specialist sites each with a small amount of sales but good margins.

Websites included in sale
Refkit is a registered trademark which we own. It uses Sellerdeck software and still supplies football referees with their clothing which we have specially made. Refkit sources the cloth, trimmings etc which is made into required garments by a UK CMT (Cut, Manufacture and Trim) company. We are gradually clearing Refkit branded stock as our suppliers have closed/retired. We are moving to selling referee items purchased from specialist wholesalers. Refkit is recognised by many FA Counties who we used to use to distribute our mail order brochures.
Teamkit has recently changed and will become the master site for all sports. A new website is currently being built using Shopify software and taking orders.
Whistleworld is our largest operation and uses Sellerdeck. This specialist website sells all types of whistles (sports, Police, school, dog, scout, navy, railways, orchestral and bird calls). Customers are mainly individuals but we also supply navies worldwide and UK railway companies. It is difficult getting supply agreements, but we are a main ACME distributor. We concentrate on selling high quality whistles rather than cheap Chinese models. We keep the majority of whistles in stock for immediate despatch as manufacturers have long lead times.
Select stores sells a few gifts, mainly hand carved wooden birds made in Bali. Using Sellerdeck the store has a small but steady turnover.
Golferkit uses Sellerdeck and used to have good sales of mainly Glenmuir clothing. Sales collapsed a few years ago when Glenmuir and other golf manufacturers decided to sell direct to the public.
Using Sellerdeck this is a specialist bowls website with small sales
Uses Sellerdeck and we buy from Zoggs, Speedo and AquaSphere. We pulled out of the market when manufacturers sold direct to Amazon who undercut everyone. We are rebuilding the site as manufacturers reduce their Amazon exposure.
We own the web name which has value but aren't using it.
We also own other web names but we are no longer trading these.
