This Grade II listed church was originally built in circa 1804 with solid stone elevations under a pitched slate roof. There is a later two-story extension which is also built with solid stone elevation. There is a further single storey rear extension made of solid stone block elevations under a tiled parapet roof.
The church has a small courtyard to the front with a small amount of circulatory space.
There is no on-site parking either on the church grounds or in the vicinity due to its proximity to Brimscombe C of E Primary School entrance.
The building has several rooms on the ground floor consisting of entrance hall, the chapel 850 sq.ft. has a balcony to three sides. The vestry 145 sq.ft and off this are two cloakrooms. The reception room is approximately 280 sq.ft and the ground floor also has a meeting room 280 sq.ft with a small kitchen 75 sq.ft.
On the first floor there are three former school rooms, the first is 240 sq.ft the second school room is 125 sq.ft and the third school room 60 sq.ft.
LOCATION
The property is located in a predominantly residential part of the village of Brimscombe, which is about 3 miles east of Stroud town centre. There are basic amenities for everyday use in Brimscombe and the church is opposite to the entrance to Brimscombe Primary School.
