Location & Surrounding Area
If you would like to make your home in the heart of Bangor, then Ty Ni is the place for you. You’re never more than 10 minutes away from everything you need. And living just a short stroll from campus really helps to take the stress out of rushing to lectures, and gives you more time to relax.

If you’d like to try your hand at a new sport, Bangor has several outdoor pursuits’ centres, boating clubs, swimming pools, courts and pitches. And there’s a dry-ski slope roughly 40 mins away in Llandudno. If you head out to Anglesey (about 30 minutes away) there is some great sand and surf at Llanddona and Benllech Beach.

The beautiful Snowdonia National Park is also on your doorstep and is a great place to hike and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Bangor train station is a short walk from Ty Ni, and Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon have good connecting rail services to Bangor.
