Property description & features
- Tenure: Leasehold
We fell in love with the character of the property - the cobbled courtyard, the rooftop garden (perfect for barbeques in the summer months), the warehouse windows, and spotting the building from afar with "Mumford's Greenwich Flour Mills" inscribed along the top.
We spent our weekends wandering into Greenwich town centre to the cafes and around the park, and through to Blackheath village shops and the station.
The lesser known Deptford also surprised us with a new development of independent cafes, restaurants and shops around the station. We had our favourite spots to sit with views across the river and city and running routes along the Thames path and around the millennium dome. For work, we turned the nook in the hallway into a home office with views of the park, and used the local 'Fuel tank' Workspace in Deptford.
The commute to Holborn was very easy (with an available seat at rush hour on the DLR almost a certainty) and the ease of travel to Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Central London and Kings Cross (using the DLR or national rail) as required was absolutely perfect.
We are certainly very sad to leave Mumford Mills and we have no doubt the next owners will love living here too."
A beautifully bright and spacious warehouse conversion flat, located on the 4th floor of this old flour mill.
The building is set within a small gated development, has an on-site concierge service and a communal roof terrace, which comes in very handy. There is also secure bicycle storage on site.
The interior features a large entrance hall, a very spacious living and dining room, open plan kitchen with integrated appliances, such as fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.
Furthermore you will find two very good size bedrooms, both feature large fitted wardrobes and the main, an en-suite bathroom and the latter an en-suite shower room.
Added benefits include engineered wood flooring, double glazed sash windows, video entry phone system, ample storage space throughout and well-presented throughout.
Greenwich mainline and DLR stations, are just a few minutes’ walk away and Deptford Bridge DLR station, is just moments away on foot.
The immediate area has a wide range of supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, hotels and 24 hour gyms. Greenwich town centre and its Royal Park, is approximately a ten minute walk away.

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength: obtained from Ofcom on December 26, 2021
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
