SITUATION
Wallacetown is an attractive rural hamlet of 6 detached houses together with the Old Wallacetown Works.

The village of Dailly is 2 miles distant and offers local amenities such as a post office, two pubs, a primary school and a doctor’s practice. The nearby towns of Girvan and Ayr offer secondary schooling as well as a variety of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, leisure facilities and hospital. The plots are well located for easy access to Glasgow via the M77 (about 50 miles). Transport links within the area are excellent with a regular train service from Girvan through Maybole to Ayr. Glasgow Prestwick Airport, with regular scheduled international flights is about 22 miles distant.

The surrounding rolling countryside which forms part of Dalquharran Castle Estate offers a network of country paths, ideal for walking, cycling and hacking. Dailly is within walking distance of the plots without the need to use public roads. There are many opportunities for games sports in the area and some of South West Scotland’s finest salmon and trout fishing. Ayrshire is renowned for its many golf courses including the world famous course at Turnberry. There is all year racing at Ayr Racecourse including the Scottish Grand National. Culzean Castle Estate with its famous Robert Adam’s cliff-top castle, woods, beaches, secret follies and play parks is 8 miles distant. The Ayrshire Coastal Path which follows the Ayrshire West Coast offers walks along the beach and headlands and is in close proximity to the Wallacetown Plots (6 miles).

DESCRIPTION
The three plots are at the eastern end of Wallacetown, presently a permanent pasture grazing field which gently slopes to the north bordering with the railway line.

PLANNING CONSENT
Planning in principle for the erection of three dwelling houses was granted on 24th June 2021 (Reference 20/00339/PPP). Copies of this decision notice and other documents are available on request from the selling agents.

The purchaser(s) shall be required to submit a detailed planning application for the design of the proposed dwelling.

The costs attributed to the access road will be shared equally between the three plots.

DIRECTIONS
From Maybole, head south west through the town and on to Dailly Road. Wallacetown plots are on the left after about 5 miles.

From Girvan, briefly join the A77 and head north. Take the B741 on the right and travel along this road. After 7 miles, the plots will be on your right.

    Broadband availability and predicted speed

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area
