Built in 2000 and remaining within the same ownership since then, Wheelwrights sits in a private position on the outskirts of the popular village of Great Bowden. Top Yard Farm is a small close consisting of just 7 houses and Wheelwrights sits to the rear of the close with open south-easterly field views.
The house has light and spacious living accommodation with oak flooring throughout the two principal rooms. Downstairs accommodation consists of a large sitting room with French doors opening onto the garden and a stone fireplace with a gas fire, this leads through to the dining room which has French doors opening onto a partially covered terrace, a central hall with breakfast kitchen with utility room off, a library with fitted oak shelves and a cloakroom.
Stairs lead up from the central hall to a generous landing space which has potential to create a small office area. The principal bedroom is situated at the southern end of the house and has an en suite shower room and separate walkin warbrobe. There are four further bedrooms, one of which has been utilised as a dressing room, and all of which have field views, and two bathrooms.
Outside
Wheelwrights sits at the back of close and has a large gravelled parking area to the North East corner of the house to the front of an integral double garage. At the northern end of this parking area there is a five bar gate providing field access.
The remainder of the garden, accessed by a wooden gate, lies to the south and borders open fields. There is a large stone terrace adjacent to the dining room which is bordered by a raised flower bed. Beyond this, lawn leads down to more mature shrubs and trees on the boundary, which is denoted by wooden estate fencing.
Location
The property lies in the village of Great Bowden less than a mile north of Market Harborough and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The village has a local pub, a village shop and a post office clustered around its pretty village green.
The bustling market town of Market Harborough dates back to the 12th century and features some beautiful historic architecture and an attractive town centre. The town has all of the necessary day-to-day amenities plus a fine choice of shopping and supermarkets, entertainment and dining options. There is also a leisure centre, several parks and green spaces and a golf course.
The beautiful Leicestershire countryside and the famous Grand Union Canal are just moments away. Transport links are exceptional, with the mainline station offering fast services to London St Pancras, and the M1 close-at-hand.
Directions
From the centre of Market Harborough go north along the High Street taking a right along Bowden Lane, immediately before the road narrows down. Then take a left at the T junction with Burnmill Road following the road for 1.5km when you will see the entrance for Top Yard Farm on your right. As you enter the close, the entrance to Wheelwrights is ahead of you and at the back.

Broadband availability and predicted speed
Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:
Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
