The Town of Holt
Holt is an historic Georgian market town with a population of approximately 4,000, which has established itself as one of East Anglia's finest independent retail centres. The fine range of Georgian buildings were constructed following the destruction of much of the Town by fire in 1708.
The Town is a popular all year round destination for tourists, weekend homeowners and local residents. Unlike a number of north Norfolk Coastal villages which are very quiet during the winter months and outside peak holiday times, Holt remains very much a vibrant local service centre with a strong sense of community.
