Dineterwood Lodge is a spacious country home built from local stone situated in an elevated position overlooking the village of Ewyas Harold and surrounded by open countryside.
The rural location is peaceful yet easily accessible. Only 35 minutes away from the Severn bridge with easy access to the M4, Cardiff and Bristol. Abergavenny is just 11 miles away and Ross-on-Wye and the M50 are 14 miles. The beautiful border towns of Hay-on-Wye and Monmouth are also close by.
The "upside down" layout makes the most of the excellent views and provides practical and stylish living space extending to over 4,600 sq. ft. including a one bedroom annexe, currently part of the main house, but capable of being completely self-contained. A detached garage/office block provides further versatile accommodation.
The interiors are bright and beautifully proportioned and feature hardwood joinery, including a bespoke oak staircase, hardwood floors and mullioned windows. A hardwood conservatory off the main living space has beautiful views over the garden and surrounding countryside.
Outside there is ample parking and beautifully landscaped gardens including large lawns, specimen trees, lawns, terraces and an orchard. The whole plot extends to nearly 2 acres.

Ewyas Harold is a desirable and well serviced village in a beautiful part of south west Herefordshire. It has a broad range of facilities including a village store, two butchers shops, a popular public house, restaurant, doctors surgery, primary school, veterinary practice and various other businesses. The area is surrounded by some of the most spectacular countryside in the welsh marches with the Black Mountains and Golden Valley all within easy reach, ideal for walkers. The towns of Abergavenny and Hereford are approximately 12 miles away with more shopping and leisure facilities.
Kingstone High School is 8 miles away and there are well known independent schools in Monmouth and Hereford.
Directions: From Hereford take the A465 towards Abergavenny. Pass Pontrilas Saw Mills and turn right at the signpost for Ewyas Harold. Opposite the village hall take a left turn. Follow the lane uphill, taking the right fork.

    Broadband availability and predicted speed

Broadband speed is measured in megabits per second, with the number returned showing how fast the connection is. Each reading is based on the highest predicted speed of any major broadband network for services that deliver the download speeds. The following are the different readings that we may display:

    Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
    Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
    Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s

The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2

Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength

Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:

Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services

Energy Performance data and Internal floor area

Any supplementary data should not be relied upon as forming part of any property particulars and OnTheMarket cannot be held responsible for any incorrectness in this data. See here for more information.
