Within approximately half an hour’s drive of Whitehouse there are ferry terminals to Islay ( and Jura), Gigha, Arran,  and Portavadie and a little further away Ardrossan (seasonal) from Campbeltown and many other Inner Hebrides isalnds from Oban,  an hour and a half to the North..  Campbeltown Airport is a mere 26 miles away and Glasgow International approximately 2 ½ hours away
