The planning history is detailed below
Setting & Location The site is in a rare and enviable waterside position. Many of the neighbouring properties have already been redeveloped and to one side is a traditional working boat yard (Heritage Marine, Downs Road Boat Yard), which is sited in the historic river port of Maldon.
Downs Road is generally a quiet back road, popular for walkers using the coastal path where access leads along to the sea wall and within short walking distance are two waterside pubs/restaurants. Around five-minute access on foot leads up to the High Street and across the water, Tesco & Aldi Supermarkets can be accessed either on foot or by car. The setting is perfect for a dream coastal getaway, whilst in the heart of town.
Maldon, in the Home County of Essex, has become the perfect East Coast getaway destination for those looking for a charming town with a great community and much to do. The area forms part of the new English Coastal Path walks and the town is proud to be the home of both the famous Maldon Oyster Company and Maldon Sea Salt. The town features many activities from food and Oyster festivals to the famous Maldon Mud Race, formerly held on boxing day and later moved to May Day Bank Holiday for better climates. This is a gruelling fun race is watched by thousands annually and always makes the headlines. Also famous for mooring the Thames Barges, a frequent site on the river and estuary with day trips available, it would be hard to ever tire of the charm and facilities available in this town. A perfect destination for families, those downsizing or weekend getaways.

Basic: Up to 30 Mbit/s
Super-fast: Between 30 Mbit/s and 300 Mbit/s
Ultra-fast: Over 300 Mbit/s
The data is updated three times a year. The checker results are predictions and should not be regarded as guaranteed. For more information, see: https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/about-checker#Answer_0_2
Mobile phone signal availability and predicted strength
Mobile signal predictions are provided by the four UK mobile network operators: EE, O2, Three and Vodafone. Predictions can vary significantly from the coverage you may actually experience as a result of local factors (especially terrain). Ofcom has tested the actual coverage provided in various locations around the UK to help ensure that these predictions are reasonable. The values shown against a property can be broken down as follows:
Clear: No bars, no signal predicted
Red: One bar, reliable signal unlikely
Amber: Two bars, may experience problems with connectivity
Green: Three bars, likely to have good coverage and receive a data rate to support basic web services
Enhanced: Full bars, likely to have good coverage indoors and to receive an enhanced data rate to support multimedia services
