Well known bars and restaurants line Commercial Way and in the Peacocks Shopping Centre there is an excellent theatre and soon to re-open cinema. Just across the road from the house is Horsell Common that makes a delightful spot for walking and cycling. Trains from Woking reach Waterloo in about 23 minutes and from the station there is a very efficient coach service to Heathrow.
