The house has been in the same family for about 50 years and has provided an excellent family home. The accommodation includes three reception rooms which lie to the front of the house, kitchen/breakfast room, utility room, a ground floor shower room and a useful cellar. On the first floor there are three bedroomss with good views, a dressing room and family bathroom. A staircase leads to two second floor rooms which would be suitable for children and have limited ceiling heights.
Outside, a short private road leads to the gravelled parking and turning area and a barn, which currently houses the oil tank and is used for log storage. Adjacent, there is a more modern building which is used as garaging and stables. The gardens around the property are well-established with many attractive trees and well-stocked shrub borders. On the north western side of the house there is a former swimming pool and a partially walled garden, beside and to the north there is a paddock divided by a small brook.
