WHAT THE OWNERS SAY We fell in love with Brightlingsea when we visited in 2006, looking for somewhere to keep our boat. The marina development had just started and we were excited by the plans. We decided there and then we wanted to embrace a whole lifestyle change to live by the water and 15 years later we are still delighted we made that decision.
To be able to sit on the balcony in the sunshine with amazing coastal views watching boats, canoes and paddle boarders go by is an unrivalled privilege. In the summer when the tide is in, we can walk round the corner for a refreshing dip in the sea and with amazing walks, a friendly pub, a deli and a great wine bar on our doorstep it really is the whole package. The town has much to offer too with a real sense of community and its own bakery, butchers and grocers. All this and just a few minutes' drive to a mainline station to London."
