WHAT THE OWNERS SAY We fell in love with Brightlingsea when we visited in 2006, looking for somewhere to keep our boat. The marina development had just started and we were excited by the plans. We decided there and then we wanted to embrace a whole lifestyle change to live by the water and 15 years later we are still delighted we made that decision.
To be able to sit on the balcony in the sunshine with amazing coastal views watching boats, canoes and paddle boarders go by is an unrivalled privilege. In the summer when the tide is in, we can walk round the corner for a refreshing dip in the sea and with amazing walks, a friendly pub, a deli and a great wine bar on our doorstep it really is the whole package. The town has much to offer too with a real sense of community and its own bakery, butchers and grocers. All this and just a few minutes' drive to a mainline station to London."

SETTING AND LOCATION Located by the waterside in the coastal town of Brightlingsea, around eleven miles from Colchester. Brightlingsea is a bustling town with a good selection of shops, schools and amenities. I deal for the sailors among us, as well as other outdoor lovers, with sports and recreational clubs nearby. The property is close to sandy beaches and colourful beach huts provide plenty of opportunities for a family day out. A number of lovely walks along the seawalls offer ramblers and birdwatchers the opportunity to enjoy the diverse flora and fauna that abound around this beautiful corner of the Essex Sunshine Coast.
