Living in Dawlish

Dawlish is a very family friendly town, popular with locals and holiday makers. The town has plenty on offer with numerous community groups, leisure facilities and numerous places to socialise, eat, drink and shop. The town has a great community feel to it with events across the year. The schools are great and is a very safe place for children to grow up in. Good transport links enable you to leave the car at home and venture further a field. The property market in Dawlish is very good, the town is growing with new developments and the infrastructure is developing too. Opportunities to live here as well as buy to let are popular.


On a personal note, we moved to Dawlish temporarily and loved the town so much, we have ended up staying for over 30 years.
