Local knowledge

Living in Marlow
Marlow is an attractive riverside market town nestled among some beautiful countryside yet still within easy reach of London. The town offers excellent road and rail links along with the ideal blend of market town convenience with open countryside – making it a highly desirable area for families and commuters alike. The town has an eclectic mix of local, national and independent retailers, including a selection of outstanding pubs and restaurants. The town itself is situated on the banks of the River Thames and the Thames Path follows the river through Marlow. Just outside, the area opens out to glorious rolling countryside and a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Outdoor pursuits are numerous, as are golf, football, cricket, hockey and rugby clubs. For commuters, there is a train station to Paddington (via Maidenhead) and the M4 and M40 motorways are accessed from the A404(M) which passes the town.
