Oxshott is a village in Surrey situated amidst the fields and woodlands of Oxshott Heath. Within 5 minutes drive of the A3 and junction 9 of the M25 it provides easy access to Heathrow and Gatwick airports and the national motorway network. There is an excellent railway service to London Waterloo taking approximately 35 minutes and a local bus service available to Esher and Kingston. Oxshott is situated in London's stockbroker/commuter belt and the area consequently has some of the highest property prices in the UK. In 2010, the Daily Telegraph called Oxshott "the most expensive village in England". The village has one Anglican church, St. Andrew's. Oxshott has its own popular primary school, the Royal Kent. There are a number of well respected private schools in the area, including Danes Hill Preparatory School, and Bevendean Pre Prep.
