The company was first founded by husband and wife partnership Bob and Katrina Gutteridge at their present office at Porthill, Newcastle, Staffs in April 1989. The firm became a limited company in June 2004 and over this long period has become well established as one of the leaders in residential estate agency and property lettings and management in the North Staffordshire area and has become part of the local community in the Porthill area and due to its success now offers a vast range of property for sale and to let and a full range of estate agency services throughout the entire Potteries and Newcastle regions.
The firm has two major disciplines, firstly the sale of new and second hand properties and this department is headed up by Stephen Gutteridge and also provides support and advice to major national house builders in respect of part exchange and assisted sale properties, and further provides valuation and investment advice to buy to let landlords.
Stephen Gutteridge commenced his estate agency career in 2001 and qualified by examination in 2007 to become a member of the National Association of Estate Agents, and given his qualifications, clients of the company can be assured that the firm conforms to the highest standards of professional competence in its estate agency activities.
The companies other main area of activity is in residential property management, this department is directed by Katrina Gutteridge and looks after a vast number of both private landlords rented properties and corporate clients portfolios and following Katrina’s long experience in the residential market locally she has become regarded as a specialist in this sector and her advice and assistance is widely sought by both local and national landlords.
