Local Area

The village of Willaston is the perfect size. It's large enough to be self-sufficient, but small enough to retain its friendly community atmosphere. Being a conservation area gives the village a truly rural feel, while Liverpool and Chester lie within 10 miles. The development is situated in the heart of the village centre. Here you'll find many ancient buildings, a quintessential village green and the restored Hadlow Road railway station. Closed to passengers in 1956, the station has been restored to its former glory and the track-bed has become a stunning 12-mile coastal path - the 'Wirral Way'. Cycle or walk as many miles as you like and take in the beautiful scenery, passing through picturesque places such as Thurstaston and West Kirby along the way.

The Wirral Country Park also lies along coast of the peninsular. Explore some of its fascinating nature trails and take the chance to spot local wildlife. And the Thurstaston Visitor Centre is only all year round. Perhaps in the summer you might even be able to make the most of its barbecue area! The village also features a host of amenities, including a supermarket, a charming tea room, a library, two pubs (both serving excellent food), two churches, a GP practice, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, and a barbers.

The village's recreation ground features tennis courts, football pitches, a children's play area and a pavilion. It is also the venue of the village festival (held once every three years), where you'll see many people in fancy dress and colourful parades and you can peruse bustling market stalls. And, for the green-fingered among you, you could join the local Horticultural Society. There's also an active Women's Institute in the area.

The properties at this development are leasehold properties with a term of 999 years from and including 01/01/2023
