DESCRIPTION

A wonderfully bright and elegant semi-detached house, built in a neo-Georgian style in the 1960s and well maintained by the present owners who have loved living in the property for the past 28 years. It is considered to offer scope for extending, subject to the necessary consents.

Shoreham Place is quiet, tucked away, private residential estate adjoining The Darenth Golf Course on the edge of Shoreham village. The estate amounts to over 9 acres to include communal park-like grounds or "pleasure gardens" and woodland on the banks of the River Darenth.

No.2 benefits from a double garage, off-road parking and a beautifully presented south-facing garden that backs on to an ornamental communal lake. There is a heated summerhouse in the garden, currently used as an art studio.

FEATURES

- Original Smallbone kitchen with wood fronted wall and base units. The vendors replaced the worktop with a stone composite one with moulded sink and drainer. Integrated appliances include a double oven, electric hob and fridge. Space/plumbing for a washing machine and dishwasher. Matching dresser unit with wooden worktop.

- Adjoining dining room with windows and doors to the rear garden.

- The sitting room has a feature fireplace, bow window to the front and French doors to the conservatory at the rear.

- The conservatory is a reception room in itself, which the vendors enjoy spending a lot of time in, looking out over the garden and its many winged visitors.

- Ground floor cloakroom.

- Three double bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor including a generous master bedroom with dressing area and en suite shower room.

- The vendors re-designed the south-facing garden, which features central circular lawn with colourful shrub beds and stone balustrade around the perimeter. There are paved patios to the side and rear of house, ideal for summer dining and entertaining.

- The summerhouse in the garden has made an ideal art studio for the present owner and has power, lighting and underfloor heating. This could potentially be used as a home office.

- To the front of the house is a grass verge with a paved pathway leading to the front door.

- To the side of the house is a detached double garage with parking in front. A covered alleyway runs between the house and garage, leading through to the back garden and there is a separate side access pathway as well.
