Chaucer House shares its entrance and reception with neighbouring Margaret Rule Hall. On the ground floor, you’ll find a sprawling common room full of sofas, armchairs and tables. There’s a spacious study room on this floor too. Up on the first floor, there’s another huge common room that’s perfect for studying or simply lounging around with your mates.

Living in such a central location means the best of Portsmouth is within walking distance. Cascades Shopping Centre is 10 minutes away, and there’s a Tesco superstore there that’s perfect for your grocery shopping. It’s a 15-minute walk to outlet shopping mall Gunwharf Quays. And cultural and foodie hotspot Southsea is a short bus ride away.
