These are substantial buildings, to include the original church building, together with various additions, comprising in total approximately 5000 sq feet (465 sq metres). There are external grounds to include yard/parking and internal courtyard. The site is located in a prime residential location and in our opinion would be ideally suited for a residential development project. Surrounding residential properties are of good quality and in our experience, readily saleable. NOTE. The electricity sub station, to the south is not part of the site.
Planning
Purchasers must make their own enquiries regarding planning or any other consents that may be required, before any redevelopment can be carried out. We have on file copies of the pre-application made to Gateshead MBC on 7 September 2020 and the Council's response dated 30 October 2020. Our clients do not intend to make any further planning applications and any buyer wishing to redevelop, must make all of their own enquiries and applications.
