Upper Breccoes is set in a beautiful, rural setting some 3 miles from Dunscore and 4.3 miles from Auldgirth. Dunscore has a primary school, doctor’s surgery, church, small pub and cafe while Auldgirth has an excellent Inn and a general store with post office.
