For commuters, the M4 is accessed at junction 16 (Swindon West about 15 miles) and a mainline rail station at Kemble on the Paddington line (about 5 miles). The M5 at junction 11A is 25 miles. There are numerous footpaths and bridleways in the locality to enjoy the countryside and in particular various aquatic sports can be enjoyed at the nearby Cotswold Water Park. Other sporting activities include golf at Oaksey, South Cerney and Cirencester, premiership rugby at Kingsholm Gloucester and various equestrian pursuits locally including Badminton Horse Trials and The Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse

Directions

From the A419, take the Spine Road exit signposted for Ashton Keynes, South Cerney, then head West along Spine Road East into the Cotswold Water Park. After 2.5 miles, at the crossroads, turn left onto the B4696. Bypassing Ashton Keynes and after approximately one mile, cross the River Thames and immediately turn right to Minety. After 1 mile, take a left at the junction, cross the railway and Hillside is situated on your left.
