Twinkles is a charming and spacious ‘upside down', beamed cottage, with great views across the farm and surrounding countryside. The cottage was named after Twinkle the cow, who had all of her calves in one of the downstairs rooms (before it was converted from a barn to a cottage !), while the upstairs was used to store hay in the winter. You can still see many of the original features of the barn, like the exposed stone walls and the double upstairs doors that were used to load the hay too and from the horse-drawn wagons that pulled up underneath.

From the downstairs entrance hall there is a double bedroom which has a king size bed and en suite shower room/W.C. Off the hall is also a very large twin bedded room. This bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom/W.C, with bath and shower above.

The whole of the top floor is a very spacious open plan lounge/dining room with kitchen area (with dishwasher, microwave , hob, oven, fridge and a separate freezer), pine floor, vaulted, beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove. The lounge is carpeted and has a brown leather three piece suite along with a 40" LCD digital Smart TV. The cottage also has its own Wi-Fi and a smart TV. The cottage is very warm, with a full central heating system. This is a communal Biomass system with a fixed fee of £110 pcm for unlimited heating and hot water.

From the upstairs lounge there are delightful views from the large windows of the front fields and of Pelynt Village in the background.

The Cottage is one of six rented cottages on Polean Farm, which is in lovely peaceful countryside, within walking distance of Pelynt village and just a 2 mile walk down the valley to Polperro.

The cottage has its own sitting area and picnic bench at the front of the cottage in the south facing courtyard.

There is also a shared communal garden, a shared laundry room (charges apply) and a communal parking area with space for two cars per cottage.
