The Property

Pine Trees is an attractive detached home offering well balanced accommodation over two floors, extending to approximately 1,800 sq. ft., and complemented by a detached garage.

Set back from the road, the property enjoys an appealing street presence and is well screened for privacy. An entrance gate, beautifully framed by a pagoda-style trellis, creates a welcoming approach and a delightful sense of entering a private garden. Beyond the gate lies a completely private front garden with a feature tree, mature shrubs and hedges, along with attractive external lighting. The house sits comfortably across the width of the plot, with a patio terrace extending from the bi-folding doors of the main living room. This space benefits from a southwesterly aspect, ideal for enjoying the late afternoon and evening sun.

Upon entering the property, you are welcomed by a spacious entrance hall featuring a stylish bespoke staircase and an impressive feature window, immediately setting the tone for the rest of the home.

The ground floor offers two reception rooms alongside a generous open-plan kitchen/breakfast room with an additional seating area. The principal reception room spans the full width of the property and is filled with natural light from large windows and bi-folding doors that open onto the front garden, creating a wonderful indoor– outdoor connection. A focal fireplace adds warmth and character to the room. A second reception room, located off the entrance hall, is currently arranged as a dining room but would also make an ideal study or family room. With double doors opening through, it provides a spacious and welcoming feel.

The heart of the home is undoubtedly the impressive kitchen/breakfast room, which opens into a large sitting and dining area. This space is complemented by bespoke cabinetry, fitted furniture, and a focal fireplace with an electric feature fire. Bi-folding doors lead directly onto the rear patio terrace and garden, providing great interactive with indoor/ outdoor living. The shaker-style kitchen features a central island, a combination of stone and wooden worktops, and a comprehensive range of bespoke cabinetry with integrated appliances and a freestanding cooker.

Completing the ground floor is a thoughtfully designed downstairs WC with an integrated utility cupboard housing a washing machine and tumble dryer (available by separate negotiation). Additional storage is provided by a generous understairs cupboard.

The first floor landing provides access to four double bedrooms, three of which benefit from ensuite bathrooms and built-in storage. The principal bedroom features a striking bay window that floods the room with natural light and offers pleasant views over the front garden. This room also benefits from extensive fitted wardrobes. A family bathroom serves the fourth bedroom, with the remaining bedrooms enjoying their own ensuite facilities.

Outside Privacy is a key feature of this home, with both the front and rear gardens offering a high degree of seclusion. The gardens are beautifully landscaped with a variety of mature trees, shrub borders, and thoughtful planting, complemented by feature lighting in areas. The rear garden also provides access to the detached garage, as well as side access to the driveway.

Location Cedar Road is often regarded as a hidden gem due to its close proximity to Cobham High Street, while maintaining a peaceful, treelined setting. The road benefits from no through traffic and resident parking restrictions, creating a quiet and exclusive residential environment. The property enjoys excellent access to Cobham’s array of boutique shops, cafés, restaurants, and everyday amenities. Transport links are superb, with Cobham & Stoke d’Abernon Station providing direct services into London, making the property ideal for commuters. With its blend of character, modern practicality, and a prime position in one of Surrey’s most desirable villages, this home represents a rare opportunity to acquire a property offering space, charm, and lifestyle appeal.

NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT In 2021, my sister Claire and I took over the business that our father established in 2002. Since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey – and one that culminated in 2023 with a rebrand that saw us change from Grosvenor Billinghurst to Grosvenor . However, our new name quickly caught the attention of an asset management company, with a similar name, and we entered into legal discussions. Of course, being faced with this predicament so soon after launching a new identity was initially a blow; we had invested a lot of time, money and energy into the rebrand. But after really reflecting on the name Grosvenor in the context of the direction the business is now heading in, this new problem became an exciting opportunity. Firstly, Grosvenor was simply a name chosen by our father many years ago. It had no real bearing on who we are as a business today. Nor did it have any direct links back to Claire and I as owners. Furthermore, as a second-generation family business, it’s our name that is, as they say, above the door. And it’s our name that’s important when it comes to driving the business forwards – not Grosvenor . So, whilst the decision to change our name for a second time in 12 months was initiated by external factors, we’re glad that it’s happened. Now, the values that form the foundation of the business are no longer ascribed to Grosvenor, but to Davies Property Partners – our new (and final) name. With our family name now at the centre of the business and this newfound opportunity to celebrate our roots, we feel more invigorated than ever. As a family-owned and managed business that’s started a brand-new chapter, we now look forward to continuing our journey and being part of yours as you embark on your next chapter – either as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.
