Subsequent to the issue of parent planning permission, an application was submitted to vary the occupancy condition. This application was approved on the 16th September 2025 under reference DC/25/03243.

The original occupancy restriction limited occupation of the manager’s accommodation to a person solely or mainly employed as manager of the equine centre operating at the site or a widow or widower or surviving civil partner of such a person and to any resident dependants.
The occupancy condition now reads as follows;
The occupation of the residential accommodation hereby approved by this permission shall be limited to a person solely or mainly employed by the equine business or any other business as may be approved that is operating at the site, or a widow or widower or surviving civil partner of such a person and any resident dependants.

We are therefore of the opinion that anyone self-employed or operating a business from the site should meet the criteria.

N.B. prospective buyers must satisfy themselves of their eligibility to occupy the property, however the vendor is willing to consider offers that may entail additional planning investigations, applications, or certificate of lawful proposed development applications as deemed necessary.
