The Property

This exceptionally spacious ground floor apartment extends to approximately 1,242 sq. ft. (115.2 sq. m.) and is ideally positioned to the rear of the development, offering a peaceful setting with direct access to a private patio and terrace, with gardens beyond.

The property opens into a generous entrance hall which leads through to the impressive main living area. The sitting room is beautifully light-filled, benefitting from a dual aspect and two sets of French doors that open directly onto a private patio, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

Adjacent to the sitting room is a well-appointed kitchen/breakfast room, cleverly designed with two sets of pocket doors that provide flexibility for open-plan living or separation when desired. The kitchen is generously proportioned, offering ample space for a breakfast or dining table. It features granite worktops, built-in ovens with an electric hob, an integrated dishwasher and fridge/freezer, along with an excellent range of practical storage cupboards.

There are three well-proportioned double bedrooms. The principal bedroom benefits from built-in wardrobes, a stylish en-suite bathroom, and a charming bay window with a door opening onto a second private patio. Bedroom two also includes a built-in wardrobe, while bedroom three is currently arranged as a study. Bedrooms two and three are served by a well-positioned family bathroom.

A particularly unique feature of this apartment is the two private patios. The first, accessed from the sitting room, is covered, ideal for enjoying outdoor space throughout the seasons. The second patio, accessed from the principal bedroom, provides an additional secluded outdoor retreat.

NEW NAME. SAME COMMITMENT In 2021, my sister Claire and I took over the business that our father established in 2002. Since then, we’ve been on an incredible journey – and one that culminated in 2023 with a rebrand that saw us change from Grosvenor Billinghurst to Grosvenor . However, our new name quickly caught the attention of an asset management company, with a similar name, and we entered into legal discussions. Of course, being faced with this predicament so soon after launching a new identity was initially a blow; we had invested a lot of time, money and energy into the rebrand. But after really reflecting on the name Grosvenor in the context of the direction the business is now heading in, this new problem became an exciting opportunity. Firstly, Grosvenor was simply a name chosen by our father many years ago. It had no real bearing on who we are as a business today. Nor did it have any direct links back to Claire and I as owners. Furthermore, as a second-generation family business, it’s our name that is, as they say, above the door. And it’s our name that’s important when it comes to driving the business forwards – not Grosvenor . So, whilst the decision to change our name for a second time in 12 months was initiated by external factors, we’re glad that it’s happened. Now, the values that form the foundation of the business are no longer ascribed to Grosvenor, but to Davies Property Partners – our new (and final) name. With our family name now at the centre of the business and this newfound opportunity to celebrate our roots, we feel more invigorated than ever. As a family-owned and managed business that’s started a brand-new chapter, we now look forward to continuing our journey and being part of yours as you embark on your next chapter – either as a seller, buyer, landlord or tenant.
