The property is located in the village of Soudley, a predominately a residential area within The Forest of Dean District Council and in the Gloucestershire County Council, approximately 12 miles to the southwest of Gloucester.

Soudley is a small village which lies a short distance west of the town of Cinderford within the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Soudley is a popular destination for tourists visiting the Forest of Dean, largely due to its proximity to the Dean Heritage Centre, but also because the local scenery and the village's location; nestled into a tight valley.

The M50 motorway, which connects the M5 with South Wales, is located approximately 10 miles to the north of the property. By road, the property is located approximately 15 miles southwest of Gloucester, 33 miles north of Bristol, 46 miles northeast of Cardiff, 77 miles southwest of Birmingham and 118 miles west of London.

Lydney railway station is situated approximately 6 miles to the south of the Property. From Lydney there are direct services to Gloucester (23 mins), Cardiff Central (56 mins) and Birmingham New Street (1 hour 25 mins).

The property is located on Church Street at its junction with Lower Street and is immediately bounded by mainly residential properties in most directions with a primary school a short distance to the north east and the village a similar distance to the south of the property.
