Alison Fagan of AM Fagan is delighted to announce this fabulous opportunity to purchase an impressive 4 or 5 bedroom detached property in the popular Drumpellier Lawns Development.

The property was built by Stewart Milne in circa 2005. The “Aberfoyle” offers a generously proportioned lounge and dining area, breakfasting kitchen, Utility Room and WC on lower level. The garage has been converted into another adaptable living space suitable as extra family room/bedroom 5/study/gym, the list is endless.

The upper level had 4 great sized bedrooms, with master en-suite and family bathroom. Gas central heating and double-glazing throughout. Ample storage cupboards on both levels.

Accessed off Coatbridge Road near the village of Bargeddie, Drumpellier Lawns could not be more conveniently placed for easy access to Glasgow, with the local train station a short walk away, and the M8, M73 and M74 interchange all located close by to ensure a speedy link to the central belt's efficient motorway network.

The commercial and superb retail centre of Glasgow and be easily accessed in less than 15 minutes by car, while the first rate leisure and shopping facilities of nearby Glasgow Fort and East Kilbride offers a convenient option as another centre to visit. Even more locally, there is also a wealth of shopping and leisure facilities available in Coatbridge and surrounding towns of the Clyde Valley.

The development takes its name from nearby Drumpellier Country Park, formerly known as the Drumpellier Estate. Purchased in 1793 by Andrew Buchanan, who became Lord Provost of Glasgow in 1740 and gave his name to the City's most famous shopping street for the discerning purchaser, he dedicated much of his time to its transformation, including the creation of landscaped pleasure grounds, parkland in the manner of Capability Brown, and a loch complete with swan house. His descendant, Carrick Buchanan, later gifted the estate to the town of Coatbridge in 1919, and it has since become an excellent Country Park.
