This charming, detached home has been cherished for the last 35 years as an ideal family home. Located in an incredibly quiet and friendly close within the village of Henley, just North of Ipswich, with a mature South facing garden, off road parking, garage and ensuite, it’s the perfect family home for a buyer looking for a rural village feel within close proximity of Ipswich.

As soon as you start driving down Freeman Avenue you can understand why the vendors have loved living here for so long. It is a peaceful, safe place for kids to play on their bikes in the street as the only traffic would be the residents within the close.

There is parking at the front of the house as it has a driveway with space for a car and further communal parking available on the lane, as well as the ability to use the garage. The house has a dark wood cladding facade on the upper level with the remaining being brick.

Walking through the front door you enter a spacious hallway that welcomes you into the home. To the immediate left is the dining room, a large room that could easily house a table that seats eight. It has such a good size because it used to be part of the L shaped living room, before the house was extended. It provides a perfect room to host all the family, with a fireplace to make it nice and cosy over winter. To the right hand side of the hall way is the downstair toilet.

Following on past the staircase and into the house you will find yourself in the inner hall, which also used to be the L shaped living room. Instead, there are now double doors to close of the dining room which leaves you with a small feature room before getting to the lounge. It's a good space to showcase any art or perhaps collectible items that you might have. If you keep walking straight through, you will end up in the lounge which is a substantially sized room with fantastic amounts of natural light coming through the large double glazed windows. The lounge also has a fireplace as a centre piece and provides access out into the garden via a sliding glass door, which makes for easy hosting of a summer BBQ!

When in the inner hall, the door to your right will take you through into the kitchen which has a lovely bay window looking out onto the garden. There is lots of countertop space, plenty of cupboards and space for under-counter appliances alongside the built in fridge freezer. Continuing through the kitchen you will find yourself in the Breakfast Room, to your right is the door into the garage which large enough to store a car whilst still having plenty of storage space and utility appliances. Taking a left in the Breakfast Room will lead you to a patio doors through to the rear garden.

The rear garden is relatively low maintenance, given that in the spring it is full of colour from all of the flowers, such as bluebells. There is a patio section with space for a small garden table and chairs, with the rest of the garden laid to lawn. At the end of the garden is a perimeter wall that is very unique as it is actually the original wall from the old Henley estate. It provides fantastic character for the outdoor space and almost feels that the gate in the middle will take you into magical garden.

Heading up the stairs, the bathroom is straight ahead. It utilises the space very well and the toilet now sits where there used to be an airing cupboard allowing room for a bath with a power shower.
To the left is bedroom two and bedroom four. Bedroom four is currently an office and has a lovely view of the fields that run on for miles behind the property. Bedroom two is a good sized room which comfortably houses a double bed and it also has a built in cupboard.
To the right is bedroom three and the master suite. Bedroom three is a good size and has a large window that also has the view over the fields to the rear. The master suite is really a fantastic space with lots of fitted wardrobe space and a perfect area for a dressing table. At the end of the room is the ensuite which is quite large and equip with a power shower.
