3HEATINGHeating is all underfloor. This is heated by a ground source heat pump that is connected to approximately 1 Kilometre of pipework grouted into the sub-Strater of the ground down to a depth of up to 100M.
4HOT WATERHot water is from an indirect cylinder. This is heated by a ground source heat pump that is connected to approximately 1 Kilometre of pipework grouted into the sub-Strater of the ground down to a depth of up to 100M.
5HOT WATERHot water is circulated around the house giving instant availability of hot water at every tap with no delay saving time and water.
6WATERWater is drawn from a 48M deep bore hole. It is filtered and stored in a 2000L tank within the water treatment building within the rear workshop. When called for by the house, pool or exterior tap it is further filtered and softened before undergoing UV treatment. So we have almost no water bills.
7ELECTRICITYElectricity is produced by 36 No. 455W solar panels producing 16kW of energy per hour. This is stored in 6 No 4.3kW batteries storing a total of 25.8kW of energy. Energy not used by the house is exported to the National Grid.
