One small double-sized bedroom to let in a shared flat that the owner also lives in. The room is newly painted and furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, desk, and chest of four drawers. Individual items can be discussed - i.e. you might not want the drawers, or might want to bring your own chair etc - but the larger items need to stay so If you come with loads of furniture and stuff, this probably isn't the room for you.

This is one bedroom of three, in a first-floor flat shared just with the owner for now, and perhaps with another sharer from spring. This current room is available to one tenant only, not to two people. All bills (broadband etc) included in the pcm cost.

Outside space for a pushbike is available (and riders of bikes are very welcome!).

Great location: quiet street near the beach, station, and town centre. The room is at the rear of the house and looks onto gardens. Parking is on-street, free, and can normally be found in the street, sometimes around a corner at very busy times. This is a non-smoking home. Someone who works out of the house is preferred because I (the owner) work from home when there, but this can be discussed if you're super keen. The room is at the back of the house, far from the lounge and with the bathroom between it and the other bedroom on this floor, so it feels private, although the flat is not huge.

Sharing the lounge-kitchen, hall, and bathroom, we will really need to have a good rapport. You'll be living with the flat owner - a publisher and outdoorsy type, 50 (she/her). All diets welcomed, meat is eaten in the house.


This is a house for... positivity, kindness, fun, music, laughter, singing, mutual respect, tidiness, cooking healthy food, planning beach walks, bike rides, weekend adventures.
This isn't a house for... those who don't seek connection at home, loud music at all hours, or those who are glued to phones, TVs, gaming etc (there's no TV in the lounge).

A deposit will be required, plus photographic proof of identity. References may be required and a referencing agency may be used.
