Immaculate, modern, five-bedroom detached property set in the coastal Hamlet of Shieldaig with partial views to the water.

Homefield is set within generous wrap-around gardens and enjoys far-reaching views over surrounding croft land towards the sea, this very well presented property offers spacious and versatile accommodation over two floors. Homefield is decorated in neutral colours, has oil fired central heating and hardwood windows with UPVC double glazing throughout.

Accessed from the driveway, a UPVC double glazed door opens into the entrance vestibule, which also serves as a bright sun lounge with glazing to three sides and lovely views over the gardens to the hills beyond. A glazed door leads to the utility area, with space for a tumble dryer and access to a generous storage cupboard. From here, a door opens into the kitchen.

The kitchen features an attractive range of white country-style units with wooden work surfaces. There is a built-in double oven and grill, a four-ring ceramic hob with extractor above, a built-in Lamona dishwasher, and a Belfast sink positioned below the window overlooking the rear garden. A further side window offers additional natural light and rural views across croft land. The kitchen also includes a built-in fridge freezer and ample space for a dining table.

A door leads from the kitchen into the dining room, a spacious area with plenty of room for a large table. A picture window to the side has views over surrounding croft land and to the hills beyond. Steps descend from the dining room to the sitting room.

The sitting room has triple aspect windows to the rear and side, capturing beautiful views across the surrounding countryside towards the sea. A wood-burning stove set on a slate hearth forms a central focal point. Doors lead from the sitting room and dining room into the hallway.

The hallway includes a double storage cupboard and a WC. A further rear UPVC double glazed door opens out to the garden. A UPVC glazed door leads into an inner hall with two further built-in storage cupboards.

The main bathroom is finished to a high standard with a white suite comprising bath, WC, bidet and wash hand basin.

Bedroom one is to the right, this is a double room with two built-in double wardrobes and a front-facing window overlooking the gardens. To the left is a large walk-in storage cupboard.

Bedroom two lies at the end of the hall and is another double room with dual-aspect windows overlooking the gardens and a built-in wardrobe.

Bedroom three is the master bedroom; a generous double with dual-aspect windows to the rear enjoying views over the gardens towards the sea, it has two built-in wardrobes, and a large en-suite shower room with WC, wash hand basin and corner shower with wet-wall panelling.

Returning to the main hall, stairs rise to the upper floor where there is additional eaves storage and a landing leading to two further double bedrooms. Bedroom four has a rear-facing window with lovely views over the gardens to the sea, as does bedroom five, which enjoys similar outlooks. Completing the accommodation is a shower room with WC, wash hand basin and corner shower unit, also finished with wet-wall panelling.

Outside, the property sits within generous wrap-around gardens with mature trees and lawned areas. The gardens are enclosed with a mix of wooden fencing and traditional stone dyke walls.

A large garage/workshop with power and water provides excellent additional space. The tarred driveway offers ample parking.

Homefield is situated in the pretty coastal Hamlet of Sheildaig on the west coast of the Applecross Peninsula.

Shieldaig is one of the most picturesque villages on the west coast of Scotland, set on the shores of Loch Shieldaig with sweeping views towards the Torridon mountains. Established in the early 19th century as a fishing settlement, the village has retained its traditional charm, with white-washed cottages lining the waterfront and fishing boats moored in the sheltered bay.

The area is renowned for its dramatic Highland scenery and wildlife with Shieldaig Island, just offshore, being a protected wildlife haven. The surrounding coastline and hills provide excellent opportunities for walking, climbing, kayaking, and wildlife watching, with chances to spot eagles, otters, seals, and even dolphins nearby.

Despite its peaceful, unspoilt character, Shieldaig has a strong sense of community and a small selection of well-loved local amenities, including a welcoming pub and cafés. There is also a Primary School in the village.
