Wifi is fast with 4g backup. There's a French window from the kitchen to a beautiful private yard to enjoy the sunshine, and a bike shed. Suitable for anyone who likes to live quietly. This is not a 'student house', but a mature/sensible student would be considered. Pets would be considered if there are no concerns about their welfare or that of the housemates.
Non-smoking or strictly outdoors only. Tenants are welcome to have a sensible friend to visit but, sorry, no parties as others are in employment.
We provide a 24 hour emergency call-out service and a weekly cleaner of the shared spaces.
The room is a good-sized double with wash hand basin, real wood floor and looks out to the back of the house, over the yard, away from the street (although it's a quiet street anyway)
The housebills (inc in rent) are council tax, gas, electricity, licence for TV in sitting room & waste disposal, and there is fast wifi and washing machine and dryer so, for day to day living, you just need to pay for your own food.
The house has a House of Multiple Occupation licence which means that it complies with safety legislation for more than 2 unrelated tenants (re gas, fire, electrical supply, drinking water quality, legionella etc) and has valid insurance for injury etc although unlikely to be required!
To make sure the house remains peaceful, with a friendly atmosphere, we require references (usually a couple of quick phone calls to an employer/current/ex landlord etc).
