The location is characterised by the historic nature of the Mill House ​and the Hogsmill River ​which runs along the southern boundary of the site with attractive woodland beyond. Ewell itself is well served by an extensive bus service, providing access to a full range of local community services. It has an excellent local rail network with regular services into Central London while ​the A3 and M25 provide links to London and Portsmouth.
